Responsibilities
- Lead M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships with $500M+ valuations
- Develop corporate governance frameworks and ensure compliance with SEC/Dodd-Frank regulations
- Advise C-suite executives on risk management, intellectual property protection, and international expansion
- Manage litigation strategy and oversee outside counsel relationships across 15+ jurisdictions
- Drive ESG initiatives and sustainability policy development for corporate clients
- Mentor junior attorneys and optimize legal technology workflows
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school with 8+ years of corporate law experience
- New York State Bar admission and active in good standing
- Proven expertise in cross-border transactions and SEC filings
- Certification in Corporate Governance (CCG) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional negotiation skills with documented $100M+ deal closures
- Advanced proficiency in legal tech (e.g., Relativity, Clio)
- Foreign language fluency (Spanish/Chinese) strongly advantageous
