Responsibilities
- Lead complex M&A transactions and corporate restructuring initiatives
- Develop comprehensive compliance programs for international operations
- Advise on SEC filings and corporate governance best practices
- Manage litigation strategy and oversee external counsel relationships
- Negotiate high-value contracts and strategic partnerships
- Drive IP portfolio management and trademark enforcement
- Lead data privacy initiatives across global operations
- Mentor junior attorneys and manage legal department workflows
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- 10+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier firm
- Bar admission in New York State
- Proven M&A transaction experience (>$500M deals)
- Expertise in SEC regulations and corporate governance
- CIPP or CIPP/IT certification preferred
- Strong proficiency with legal tech platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Relativity)
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
