Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and corporate governance.
- Manage and lead complex due diligence processes for high-value transactions.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks across all business units.
- Train and mentor junior associates and paralegals within the legal department.
- Stay abreast of changes in UK and EU legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (UK) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in corporate and commercial law.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills with a focus on commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
