Nexus Digital Partners is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Corporate Counsel to join our elite legal team in New York City. Responsibilities
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, and partnership deals.
- Advise senior management on corporate governance matters, compliance issues, and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage and direct outside counsel for litigation, investigations, and special projects.
- Lead data privacy initiatives, ensuring full compliance with CCPA, GDPR, and other relevant data protection laws.
- Conduct thorough legal risk assessments and implement strategies to minimize liability.
- Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure IP protection and technology transfer compliance.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on technology, fintech, or general corporate law.
- Proven track record of successfully managing high-stakes litigation and negotiations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to manage a team of legal professionals.
