Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Advise the board and executive team on corporate governance matters and regulatory compliance within the UK jurisdiction.
- Draft, negotiate, and review high-value commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments and business partnerships.
- Manage and mentor junior members of the legal team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (Roll Call) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
- Proven track record of successfully closing significant M&A deals.
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier university.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.
- Deep understanding of UK corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
