Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and drafting of complex commercial contracts and strategic partnerships.
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Oversee intellectual property portfolio strategy and enforcement actions.
- Manage external counsel and legal department budget with high fiscal responsibility.
- Advise internal stakeholders on data privacy, cybersecurity, and labor regulations.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence and transaction execution.
- Develop and implement internal legal processes to streamline operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a multinational corporation.
- Deep expertise in commercial law, contract negotiation, and corporate governance.
- Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex legal issues into actionable business advice.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
