Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex cross-border M&A transactions from due diligence to closing.
- Draft and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements, including purchase agreements and joint venture documents.
- Provide expert legal counsel on corporate governance and fiduciary duties to boards of directors.
- Mentor and supervise junior associates, fostering professional development within the firm.
- Collaborate with international tax and regulatory experts to ensure global compliance.
- Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Participate in firm-wide business development initiatives and industry events.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited top-tier law school.
- Admitted to practice in New York State with 5-8 years of experience in BigLaw.
- Proven track record in handling multi-million dollar M&A and private equity transactions.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
