Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire construction project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to final handover and closeout.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure profitability and adherence to timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and government officials to ensure project compliance.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure all regulatory OSHA standards are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports and financial forecasts to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in high-rise or commercial projects.
- Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes in New York.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
