Responsibilities
- Oversee entire project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards
- Manage cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Implement rigorous safety protocols and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local building codes
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reporting to stakeholders
- Resolve technical issues and mitigate risks through proactive problem-solving
- Coordinate with municipal authorities for permits and regulatory approvals
- Optimize resource allocation and cost control strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction with 5+ years in leadership roles
- PMP or LEAP certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of managing projects exceeding $50M in value
- Expert knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and BIM technology
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Texas contractor's license (Class A) or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Experience with sustainable construction practices and green building initiatives
