Responsibilities
- Direct and manage large-scale commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Enforce rigorous safety standards and ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and local building codes.
- Manage procurement processes and contract negotiations with third-party vendors.
- Lead on-site project meetings and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.
- Drive quality control processes to ensure every build meets Apex’s premium craftsmanship standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects valued at $20M+.
- Advanced proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam).
- Deep understanding of local Austin/Texas building codes and permitting processes.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Professional certification (PMP, CCM, or LEED AP) is highly preferred.
