Responsibilities
- Lead and direct large-scale commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting to ensure maximum profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve design and construction issues.
- Enforce strict quality control standards and ensure total site safety compliance (OSHA).
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6).
- Oversee permit procurement and municipal inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor junior project managers and site superintendents to drive team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction management.
- Proven track record of managing projects with budgets exceeding $20M.
- Strong proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification is considered a significant asset.
