Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles from conception through to final handover.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on all sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues before they impact project timelines.
- Mentor and develop junior project staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- RICS or CIOB membership is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience managing projects with a value exceeding £10 million.
- Strong working knowledge of UK building regulations, planning permissions, and construction standards.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and other construction management software.
