We're seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee high-value developments in Austin's booming commercial sector. This role offers the opportunity to shape iconic projects while mentoring junior staff and implementing cutting-edge construction technologies.
Responsibilities
- Manage $10M+ commercial construction projects from pre-planning to completion
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Implement BIM technology for project optimization and documentation
- Control project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance reviews
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and resolve project disputes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification
- Proven track record managing projects over $5M
- Advanced proficiency in Procore and AutoCAD
- Texas Contractor License (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
