Responsibilities
- Oversee full lifecycle management of commercial construction projects ($10M+ budget)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reporting
- Negotiate contracts and resolve complex construction challenges
- Implement sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of progressive construction management experience
- Proven track record of delivering commercial projects on time and budget
- OSHA 30-hour certification and LEED AP credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago building codes and permitting processes
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills
- PMP certification preferred
