Responsibilities
- Oversee entire project lifecycles from pre-construction to closeout, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors while maintaining compliance with OSHA and local regulations
- Implement innovative BIM and digital project management tools to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage procurement processes, contracts, and risk mitigation strategies for large-scale commercial developments
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and progress reporting to stakeholders
- Drive sustainable construction practices and LEED certification initiatives
- Develop and maintain client relationships through transparent communication and proactive problem-solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction with 5+ years in project management
- PMP or LEED AP certification required, with demonstrated expertise in BIM and construction software
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects over $50M on time and within budget
- Deep knowledge of Texas building codes, permitting processes, and municipal regulations
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams of 15+ professionals
- Strong analytical abilities for cost estimation, risk assessment, and resource optimization
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder management and conflict resolution
