Responsibilities
- Oversee entire project lifecycle from pre-construction planning to final handover, ensuring on-time delivery within budget constraints
- Lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project alignment
- Implement rigorous quality control systems and safety protocols to exceed industry standards
- Manage project documentation including blueprints, permits, compliance reports, and financial tracking
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Develop and maintain client relationships through transparent communication and exceptional service delivery
- Coordinate with municipal authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth permitting processes
- Mentor junior project managers to foster professional development and team excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive construction experience with 5+ years in senior project management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial or mixed-use projects
- Strong proficiency in construction management software (Procore, AutoCAD, MS Project)
- LEED AP BD+C certification or equivalent sustainable building credentials
- Deep knowledge of Texas building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing diverse project teams
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills for stakeholder management
