Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Manage budgets up to $50M and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, subcontractors)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
- Implement sustainable construction practices and LEED certification protocols
- Resolve technical challenges and mitigate risks through proactive solutions
- Utilitize BIM software for project modeling and resource optimization
- Forge strong client relationships and stakeholder communication
- Lead safety initiatives and maintain zero-incident project sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive construction management experience
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Proven track record managing large-scale commercial/residential projects
- Expert knowledge of NYC building codes and local permitting processes
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks)
- Strong financial acumen with budget forecasting and cost control
- O-30-hour Construction Safety Certification
