Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality control.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress billing.
- Mentor junior project managers and field staff to drive professional growth and project efficiency.
- Conduct regular client meetings to provide transparent reporting on project milestones and risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects valued at $20M+.
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6).
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and local building codes.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are highly preferred.
