Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Manage project budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and change order management.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Implement and enforce safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial or large-scale residential projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP certification is a plus.
