Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Oversee all daily on-site operations, ensuring projects adhere to specifications, schedules, and budgets.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.</li><li>Implement and enforce comprehensive safety programs, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations.</li><li>Coordinate and schedule all trade activities, materials, and equipment, optimizing workflow and preventing delays.</li><li>Conduct regular quality control inspections, ensuring work meets Apex Builders Group's stringent standards and client expectations.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers on-site, resolving issues promptly and professionally.</li><li>Manage project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and incident reports.</li><li>Collaborate closely with project managers to anticipate challenges, develop proactive solutions, and ensure seamless project execution.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.</li><li>Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience as a Construction Superintendent on large-scale commercial or multi-family residential projects.</li><li>OSHA 30-hour certification required; additional safety certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR) preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.</li><li>Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.</li><li>Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to anticipating and mitigating project risks.</li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites within the Austin metropolitan area.</li></ul>
