Responsibilities
- Direct multi-million dollar commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout
- Manage cross-functional teams including subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards, building codes, and quality control protocols
- Implement sustainable construction practices and LEED certification requirements
- Oversee budget management, procurement, and resource allocation
- Resolve technical challenges and maintain project schedules using Procore software
- Conduct site inspections and safety audits across active construction zones
Qualifications
- 10+ years in commercial construction with 5+ years in project management
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven track record delivering large-scale commercial projects (>$10M)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and LEED AP accreditation required
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software (Procore, BIM 360)
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in sustainable building practices and energy-efficient systems
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex subcontractor relationships
