Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all phases of construction projects, from initial concept and planning through execution and successful close-out.
- Formulate comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee on-site operations, strictly enforcing compliance with engineering specifications, quality control protocols, and rigorous safety regulations.
- Conduct meticulous financial oversight, including cost tracking, forecasting, and detailed financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Engage in strategic negotiation with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure optimal terms and uphold project profitability.
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with clients, design teams, regulatory bodies, and internal departments.
- Proactively identify potential project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to ensure seamless project progression.
- Provide impactful leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and results-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant portfolio of large-scale commercial or multi-family residential projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to exacting quality standards.
- Deep expertise in construction methodologies, materials, local building codes, and relevant industry best practices.
- Advanced proficiency with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and critical problem-solving capabilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent industry credential is highly preferred.
