Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle planning, execution, and delivery of $50M+ commercial/residential developments
- Lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies
- Implement Lean Construction methodologies and BIM 360 technology for optimal efficiency
- Manage multi-million dollar budgets with rigorous cost control and financial forecasting
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, ICC, and Chicago Building Code regulations
- Coordinate sustainable construction practices achieving LEED/Green Building certifications
- Resolve complex site challenges through innovative problem-solving and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction with $25M+ project exposure
- PMP certification and LEED AP BD+C designation required
- Expert proficiency in Procore, BIM 360, and AutoCAD software ecosystems
- Proven track record delivering complex projects within budget and schedule constraints
- Deep knowledge of Illinois construction law, permitting processes, and local regulations
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing 50+ person project teams
- Strong negotiation abilities with subcontractors, vendors, and municipal authorities
