Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the entire construction process from initial planning and budgeting to final execution and handover.
- Financial Management: Develop detailed project schedules and budgets, monitoring costs closely to ensure profitability and variance control.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and government officials, providing regular progress updates.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols (OSHA standards) to ensure zero accidents and a safe working environment.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Select, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or AutoCAD.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
