Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of commercial construction projects (>$20M) including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional teams of subcontractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA standards, building codes, and quality control protocols
- Implement sustainable construction practices and BIM coordination for efficiency
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical challenges proactively
- Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Utilize Procore software for project documentation and progress tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in commercial construction with 5+ years in project leadership
- Proven track record managing large-scale urban development projects
- LEED AP BD+C certification required
- Expert knowledge of Texas building codes and permitting processes
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software (Procore, BIM 360)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and strong safety management background
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
