Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of large-scale construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring alignment with project goals and client specifications.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed scopes, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee project teams, including superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Implement rigorous quality control and safety programs to ensure compliance with all regulations and industry best practices.
- Manage financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, change order management, and final project accounting.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial or large-scale residential projects.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project) and strong CAD/BIM comprehension.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
