Responsibilities
- Lead complex commercial construction projects from pre-construction to final closeout.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting with extreme accuracy.
- Direct and mentor site superintendents, subcontractors, and architectural partners.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA regulations and internal quality control standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones align with aggressive delivery schedules.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising structural integrity.
- Manage all permit acquisitions and municipal inspections across the Austin metro area.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of managing projects with budgets exceeding $20M.
- Expert proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam Revu.
- Deep knowledge of Texas building codes and local Austin zoning regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and city officials.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
