Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-planning to closeout
- Manage project budgets exceeding $20M while maintaining profitability targets
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and local building codes
- Implement sustainable construction practices and LEED certification requirements
- Utilize BIM/CAD software for project modeling and documentation
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments
- Develop and maintain client relationships through transparent communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commercial construction
- PMP certification and OSHA 30-hour training required
- Proven track record managing projects over $15M in value
- Expert knowledge of Texas building codes and permitting processes
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam)
- Strong financial acumen for cost control and forecasting
- Exceptional leadership and conflict resolution skills
