Role Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships to drive our vision forward.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final handover and completion.
- Manage project budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, including CDM regulations.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and technical challenges before they impact the schedule.
- Implement innovative construction methodologies to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in construction project management, preferably within the UK market.
- Relevant degree (BSc/MSc) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Chartered status (e.g., MCIOB, MICE) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of UK building codes, regulations, and planning processes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).
