Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee all onsite construction activities, ensuring full compliance with safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and troubleshoot operational roadblocks.
- Manage detailed project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and daily progress reports.
- Facilitate effective communication between architects, engineers, clients, and municipal stakeholders.
- Implement lean construction methodologies to optimize resource allocation and waste reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction management.
- Proven track record of managing projects valued at $20M+ from inception to closeout.
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse onsite teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and safety requirements in Colorado.
- PMP or CCM certification is highly preferred.
