Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final closeout.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Enforce rigorous safety standards and ensure 100% compliance with OSHA and local building codes.
- Monitor site progress daily, addressing bottlenecks and technical challenges proactively.
- Manage procurement processes and contract negotiations for major equipment and materials.
- Provide mentorship to junior project engineers and site supervisors to foster professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial or multi-family construction management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects with budgets exceeding $20M.
- Expert proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- In-depth knowledge of Texas building codes and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or PMP certification is highly preferred.
