Responsibilities
- Oversee entire project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Implement rigorous safety protocols and OSHA compliance across all job sites
- Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical challenges proactively
- Utilize BIM/CAD technologies for precise project documentation and progress tracking
- Develop sustainable construction strategies to minimize environmental impact
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial/residential construction
- Proven track record managing projects exceeding $20M in value
- LEED AP or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
- Expertise in construction scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago building codes and municipal regulations
- OSHA 30-hour certification and First Aid/CPR training
- Exceptional leadership and conflict resolution abilities
