Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects from conception to final completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage daily on-site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless execution.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using critical path methods.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce rigorous quality control and compliance with building codes.
- Manage financial reporting, including cost estimates, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
- Enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring zero accidents and full compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Liaise with clients to provide progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in commercial construction management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects valued at $5M+.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
- Expert proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
