Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and design coordination to final site handover and closeout.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial profitability through efficient resource allocation.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including subcontractors, architects, and engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control standards and adherence to building codes.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in construction management, specifically within the UK market.
- Relevant qualification: NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management or a related degree (e.g., Civil Engineering).
- CSCS Gold Card holder (mandatory requirement).
- Experience with Project Management methodologies (Prince2 or PMP certification is highly desirable).
- Proficiency in construction management software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Primavera P6.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with a focus on safety and quality.
