Responsibilities
- Advising clients on complex commercial contracts, including supply agreements, distribution deals, and service level agreements.
- Conducting thorough due diligence and risk assessments for corporate transactions and M&A activities.
- Managing a high-profile caseload from inception to resolution, including drafting and reviewing complex legal documentation.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Mentoring junior lawyers and trainees to foster their professional development and technical skills.
- Contributing to the firm's business development strategy and identifying new market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (QLTS or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Strong technical knowledge of English contract law, corporate regulations, and commercial best practices.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail and risk management.
- Proven track record of managing large, multifaceted legal matters independently and efficiently.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal clients.
