Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP platforms
- Lead cloud migration projects and optimize existing infrastructure for performance/cost
- Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines
- Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams for stakeholder reviews
- Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Stay current with cloud trends and evaluate new technologies for implementation
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Expert-level certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and FinOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
