Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures on AWS/GCP platforms
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to cloud-native solutions
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Optimize cloud spend through FinOps strategies and architectural reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior architects and conduct technical workshops
- Ensure compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Present solution blueprints to C-level stakeholders and technical committees
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture with 3+ years in AWS/GCP
- Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Expert or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
- Strong background in security frameworks and cloud security best practices
- Proven experience leading complex cloud migration projects
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with FinOps tools and cost optimization methodologies
