Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring strict adherence to FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs for federal clients.
- Develop and enforce robust security protocols, including identity management, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, security analysts, and project managers to deliver mission-critical applications on time.
- Mentor junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices for cloud automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system health and performance, implementing automated scaling strategies to ensure high availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on the public sector or federal contracting.
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Expert proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC) or Azure (VMs, App Service, Key Vault).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation.
