Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure) in compliance with FedRAMP standards.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate deployments.
  • Implement rigorous security controls and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and secure software delivery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize performance and cost-efficiency of government cloud resources.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and ensure high availability for mission-critical public platforms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on evolving cloud security best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture and systems administration.
  • Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services and hybrid-cloud integration.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Comprehensive understanding of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and FISMA compliance requirements.
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) in production environments.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust clearance.
