Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, high-availability cloud environments (AWS/Azure) for federal applications.
- Lead migration strategies for moving legacy on-premise workloads to secure cloud-native environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent deployments.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce FedRAMP compliance and Zero Trust security architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of operational excellence and DevOps best practices.
- Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate delivery.
- Provide tier-3 support and incident resolution for production cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and systems administration.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud services and their integration within government security frameworks.
- Proven ability to script and automate tasks using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience navigating federal security guidelines (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
