Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Lead cloud migration projects for legacy systems while ensuring zero-downtime transitions
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural improvements and resource automation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Ansible
- Establish monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
- Conduct disaster recovery planning and execute incident response protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices and security frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure with 5+ years in AWS/GCP environments
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong background in networking, security, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
