NexusScale Tech is looking for an elite Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our high-growth platform team. You will be responsible for architecting, scaling, and optimizing our distributed systems to support millions of concurrent users. Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly scalable, secure, and resilient multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi to ensure environment consistency.
- Lead the migration and optimization of legacy microservices to a containerized Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and accelerate deployment velocity.
- Proactively monitor system performance and implement automated recovery protocols.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews and architectural decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and SOC2 standards across all cloud assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS or Google Cloud Platform architecture and service offerings.
- Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration patterns.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Proven experience managing large-scale production environments with zero-downtime requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
