Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi to automate environment provisioning.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for high-priority production system outages.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in DevOps and site reliability engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to balance high performance with cost-efficiency.
- Define and manage service level objectives (SLOs) to ensure 99.99% availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and DNS management.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Professional certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional) is highly preferred.
