Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Architect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, automated deployment cycles.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production-level infrastructure issues.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to balance performance with cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust IAM policies and network security.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in site reliability engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Expertise in container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) and security best practices.
- Proven experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to infrastructure automation.
