Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime across multi-region deployments
- Lead security compliance initiatives including SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct infrastructure code reviews
- Implement disaster recovery plans and perform regular failover testing
- Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS/Azure infrastructure and services
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Professional certifications (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect preferred)
