Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure environment consistency.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to enforce zero-trust architecture and compliance standards.
- Drive the automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment cycles.
- Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive optimization strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an engineering culture of excellence and high velocity.
- Manage cloud costs and optimize resource utilization without compromising system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture or DevOps engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda).
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus).
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex system-level problems in a high-traffic environment.
