Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Pulumi to automate deployment pipelines.
- Optimize cloud costs through granular resource monitoring and architectural refactoring.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for mission-critical production systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to enforce compliance and zero-trust networking principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in cloud governance and site reliability engineering (SRE).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Strong background in CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Fluent in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, networking, and cloud security frameworks.
- Professional certification (AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, or similar) is highly desirable.
