Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available multi-region cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CI/CD best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance system observability, monitoring, and alerting.
- Lead security-first initiatives including identity management and network encryption.
- Optimize cloud resource performance and cost-efficiency through data-driven analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers through design reviews and code audits.
- Manage disaster recovery strategies and incident response for critical service outages.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS focus).
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Deep experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Advanced knowledge of networking, security protocols, and IAM policies.
