Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Lead Kubernetes cluster deployments and optimize container orchestration for high-availability workloads
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps toolchains
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization for cloud resources
- Implement robust monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with AWS
- Expertise in Kubernetes administration and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
