Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architectural improvements
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates following DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with SRE teams to enhance system reliability and resilience
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct infrastructure code reviews
- Implement security frameworks (CIS benchmarks, compliance automation)
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with 3+ in senior roles
- Expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Professional or equivalent)
- Python/Go scripting for infrastructure automation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
